And as for the Mega Bloks Minions Series 2 figures–I really have no idea. So while, say, the Napoleon Minion may have multiple possible code numbers, if you find a box with the code “ A02045ES“, you know it’s the Minion Napoleon figure.Īs of now, the Minions Series 3 Mega Bloks figures are just beginning to hit stores worldwide, so if you can’t find them in your area just yet–keep looking.
MEGA Brands typically add more codes for their blind boxes/blind bags once or twice during production, but the code numbers are always unique. Hopefully that won’t be the case with this duo. You’ll notice that this series includes two “special” Minions which are packed at one (or zero) blind boxes per case: a “Mystery Minion” (which is a Bob figure with Teddy Bear accessory) and an “Ultra Rare” Minion (which is a Napoleon Minion holding a sword).įrom my experience collecting Halo Mega Bloks blind bags, it’s typically not too hard finding the Ultra Rare figures, but the Mystery ones are often a pain to track down. While LEGO forces collectors to use arcane methods like feeling up the bags and trying to decipher dots, every MEGA Brands blind box or blind bag has a code printed or embossed on the bag that clearly denotes which figure is inside. If there’s one area that collecting Mega Bloks blind bags (or sometimes boxes, depending on what country you’re in) is vastly superior to collecting LEGO Minifigures Series blind bags, it’s “ease of collecting”.
